DAVONNE HUNT - Cheerleading Compeition Judge

Originally from Houston, TX, Davonne now resides in Frisco, TX with her husband Dave and their two children, Emily 18 and Brad 17.  Davonne has over 30 years of experience in the cheerleading industry.  In college, she was a cheerleader at the University of Houston where she cheered for the infamous Phi Slamma Jamma in the final four!  Davonne taught NCA camps for 18 summers and was a top head instructor. As a middle school teacher, Davonne has had many years of experience as a cheerleader coach and advisor as well as coaching other sports such as volleyball, basketball, and track.   Along with her husband, Davonne owned and operated an all-star cheerleading gym in Plano, TX.  Her judging experience over the last 30 years has included Contest of Champions, NCA, Cheer Power, Cheer America, Cheersport, Mardi Gras Spirit Events, America’s Best, and numerous other state and local competitions. Davonne is currently the co-owner of Funk Your Threads, a clothing company in McKinney, TX.
